January 16 Seoul - EUCCK had a meeting with Ms. Catherine Ashton, European Council Trade Commissioner who visited Seoul for Korea - EU FTA negotiations. Each committee of EUCCK presented on EU industry's position in the Korean market and the major issues faced for 2 hrs and WJ Kim, one of active member of EUCCK IPR Committee, conveyed the hot issues to be solved on IPR side.


Blizzard Entertainment Donation to EUCCK IPRs  
  Blizzard Entertainment Korea, leader in the Computer and Video Game industry, donated its world wide limited game feature "A FEARSOME WOLF-MOUNTED ORC WARRIOR" to the EUCCK IPR Committee. The creator of the ¡®Warcraft¡¯, ¡®Starcraft¡¯ and ¡®Diablo¡¯ series, Blizzard Entertainment was founded in 1991 and is a subsidiary of Vivendi Games, a French company and has actively working at the EUCCK IPR Committee since 2007.
 
 
IPR Committee Luncheon Meeting with FTC  
  January 20, The IPR Committee of EUCCK held a luncheon meeting with FTC to prevent the potential consumer¡¯s severe damage at Namsan II, Grand Hyatt Hotel.

 
 
EUCCK IPR Committee Kick-Off Meeting  
  January 21 EUCCK Office - EUCCK IPR Committee members gathered at EUCCK Office and settled four mission in 2009 and discussed the action plan to achieve those mission. Committee members shared views and opinions for IPR protections with committment.
 
 
Visit to Seoul Main Customs  
  November 27, Seoul- The EUCCK IPR Committee arranged meeting with Mr. Chong-Ahn Woo, Director General of Seoul Main Customs and Mr. Henry Tjan, Brand Integrity Manager of Philip Morris.

 
 
 
27th International Customs Day !
 
  January 20, Seoul - the Korea Customs Service held the ceremony for the 27th International Customs Day at the Shilla hotel in Seoul with over 150 distinguished guests including ambassadors, commercial counselors and customs attaches to Korea, and Customs officials in attendance.
