On the occasion of International Customs Day, the EUCCK Secretary General received an award from Commissioner Hur Yongsuk for active cooperation in Customs activities. The EUCCK has worked closely with the Korea Customs Service (KCS) in a number of areas in recent months, including IP Centre activities with key anti-counterfeiting officials.

KIPO Announces Decline in Filing Activity in 2009 |

The Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) has announced that 2009 saw a 5.2% decline in filing activity from 2008 (covering patents, utility models, trademarks and designs). This was the first time an annual decline was recorded in over a decade.
